Gifts for Bloggers and Vloggers
Cameras
Excellent pictures help make an excellent blog post. If you’re a vlogger then you know that a quality video camera is a must. The good news is you don’t have to break the bank to get good photos or videos.
You can actually do most of your good work using your smartphone. Plus, with a basic smartphone vlogging kit, you can get a tripod, LED light, microphone, and phone mount all in one!
However, if you have some budget to use, here are three great cameras to consider (all costing less than your smart phone!!)
Still: Simple, good quality, and low price, the Kodak PIXPRO Astro Zoom AZ252-RD 16MP Digital Camera with 25X Optical Zoom and 3″ LCD
Video: 4K quality at an affordable price, it’s the 4K Vlogging Camera for YouTube – UHD 48M 30FPS Digital Zoom Camcorder Infrared Night Vision 3 in Touch Screen Recorder with Hood Support Webcam Microphone
Streaming/webinars: Built for streaming, you have the Mevo Start, The All-in-One Live Streaming Camera. Wirelessly Live Stream in 1080p HD and Remote Control with Dedicated iOS or Android App
Vlogger? Food Blogger?
You need great pictures, you need great video. Here’s one camera that does the job of two, the Canon Rebel T7
Product Photography
You should grab something like this, the Amazon Basics Portable Photo Studio
Or, a bit lower in price, the PULUZ 31cm Ring Light Photo Studio Light Box
Photo models
If you’re in the mood to make gifts for bloggers as print-on-demand products using sites like Merch by Amazon, Redbubble and Teespring, it’s a big plus when you can show some “social proof” product placement with actual people using your products.
The best platform for doing that is Placeit.net – they provide a HUGE selection of models and settings to use your product images on.
If you’re not familiar with “print-on-demand” platforms, they are for making designs and putting them on t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, clocks, and more. These are great messaging tools and fans of topics of all sorts LOVE wearing clothing that says what they’re into.
Here are the three top platforms to use:
- Redbubble
- Teespring
- Merch by Amazon
WordPress Hosting
Every blogger needs a solid, reliable web hosting provider. After many years of blogging, I’ve selected SiteGround as my preferred hosting service. They’re value-priced, service-oriented, and have excellent and responsive tech support. I highly recommend them.
If you need a second source to compare to, I’ve also used BlueHost over the years, and though they are a great host for beginner blogs, I’ve consolidated all my sites with SIteGround simply to avoid doubling up on annual fees.
Both are recommended.
Home Office
You blog somewhere, right? When not in the coffee shop or plane. train, automobile, then it’s your home office, a spare room, the kitchen table.
Does your somewhere need a few things? You can actually increase your productivity with highly rated items like these:
Micro-fine pens, great for notes or doodling or artwork!
Planners are time savers and organizers in one. Great for content planning.
Office chairs built for comfort – check out this AmazonBasics Mesh, Mid-Back, Adjustable, Swivel Office Desk Chair with Armrests, Black
Ambiance: Yankee Candle, soothing, relaxing say no more.
Ok, maybe one more candle, with a wood wick!
Need someplace better to put that laptop?? How about the Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

Email Service Provider
You know you need an email list, right? It’s the only thing you “own” – if your videos are taken down or your Pinterest or Facebook account gets shut down, you still have your list.
Give (or get) the gift of a solid email service provider, and the one I use and recommend (for beginners and more advance cost-conscious bloggers) is MailerLite

You need to learn how to do keyword research, especially the basics. This can be a tough nut to crack, but here’s a very poplar and affordable course that makes it easy to understand: Get Your Keywords Together
